Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber Optic)

Structured cabling systems form the backbone of uninterrupted communication in data centers, determining the reliability of both power and data transmission. ERFA Information Technologies designs and implements copper (Cat6A, Cat7) and fiber optic (OM4, OS2) infrastructures with high bandwidth and low loss values in compliance with international standards. Each layer is designed with performance, redundancy, and future scalability in mind.

Cable Types:

Copper (UTP, S/FTP) and Fiber (OM4, OS2) infrastructures

Standards:

Designs compliant with ISO/IEC 11801, TIA-568, EN 50173

Connectivity Hardware:

Patch panels, fiber trays, ODFs, and modular distribution systems

Testing & Certification:

Fluke tests, OTDR measurements, and channel verification reports

Physical Protection:

Cable trays, ceiling racks, and cable ducts

Redundancy:

A/B path separation and fiber ring topologies

ERFA optimizes structured cabling design parameters such as signal integrity, attenuation, and interference resistance with engineering calculations. Loss budgets, splice points, and connector transitions in fiber lines are verified via OTDR analysis. Copper infrastructures are documented with Fluke certification tests for every connection channel.

"A robust communication infrastructure is the backbone of a data center — proper cabling guarantees long-term performance."

In project implementations, cable routes are isolated from power lines; proper bend radius and cable density management preserve signal stability. Patch panel layouts and labeling standards enhance operational efficiency and speed up fault resolution. ERFA Information Technologies builds cabling infrastructures as scalable modular architectures ready for future 400G and higher network technologies.
